The Roadmap
We recommend an hour’s initial one to one diagnostic and coaching session, including a mock interview
- We focus on three key areas: why the move, academic selection post GCSEs and what your child will bring to the school
- We ensure your child has ownership of the three key areas
- We help your child to be excited about the move and the interview, creating a ‘can do’ mindset
- After the initial session we provide immediate verbal feedback to students and parents
- This includes overall impressions, areas of strength and possible areas for development
- We provide suggestions on how you might help your child and areas they may need to focus on.
- We discuss whether further coaching sessions are required
- We advise the process begins a few months before the first interview to avoid rushing, creating pressure and causing unnecessary stress.
